A1060 (sidecar) manual scans which where scanned in by Clockmeister on the 19/02/2001. These scans are really of use only for those Amiga users interested in a bit of Amiga history and those who have a Sidecar laying around but no manual to go with it. My Sidecar died some time ago, someone let the smoke out of the PAL's and well... err, you get the picture :-( On a sidenote, some of the information in the manual, especially on using the Sidecar harddrive as an Amiga drive appear inaccurate. I couldn't get it to work on my Sidecar / A1000 combinations but you might have better luck. It's fairly important to do the PAL grounding hack before using the Sidecar hardware 'cause the A1000 has a bit of a problem with bus noise, particularly on early A1000's that had the daughterboard. The stuff on jumper settings and such are accurate and can be relied on as far as I could tell. If anyone would like to add anything to this archive, or convert them into PDF format or whatever, feel free but please give some credit to the poor bugger who took the time to scan all those pages in the first place ;-) My website is at www.tnet.com.au/~gerryvdb and has some other usefull (?) information relating to elderly Amiga computers. Email gerryvdb@tnet.com.au for any questions or general correspondence. CYA in c.s.a.h, a.c.a, c.s.a.m from time to time. Clockmeister.
